👉 About the keynote speaker:
Charlotte Haid, M. Sc., is a research assistant and team leader at the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics at the Technical University of Munich. After her master’s degree in mechanical engineering, she initially worked in the automotive industry, looking for innovations in logistics processes on the shop floor. In 2020, she changed back to university, pursuing research interests in shaping the future of work, robotics, circular logistics and social transformation using technical innovations in the factory.

👉 About the keynote itself:
Sustainability and human-centeredness are two main aspects of Industry 5.0. In the keynote, selected current research projects of the chair will be presented for both. In the area of circular economy, research collaborations with the automotive industry in Germany will be presented, dealing with disassembly and recycling approaches. The part on human-centeredness includes a brief insight into the topic of ethics in AI, using the example of shift planning in logistics. The presentation is intended to inspire exchange and discussion on research collaborations and new research topics.
